Ever wondered how you can interact with the Today’s Country 94.1 team? What we do away from the station? How you can meet our volunteers, including Ronnie Tee and Jaq, and other presenters, in person?
Ever wondered how you can support the station as a volunteer?
Below are some of the many ways that we raise funds and support country music talent in Australia.
Today’s Country 94.1 is a regular part of Australia’s favourite country music festival. We assist with fundraisers such as the “Country under the Vines” for Ronald McDonald House, support artists on the Fanzone stage, buskers corner and Hissy Fits Cafe intimate events – and of course broadcast live interviews with more than 60 artists.
Ronnie Tee and Jaq also hosted and presented live from the Red Carpet at the Golden Guitar awards – the pinnacle of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

For 16 years, Today’s Country 94.1 has hosted the Central Coast’s top country music talent quest. Brand New Star has attracted young, emerging country music artists from up and down the east coast of Australia. Back and bigger than ever for 2025, Brand New Star is sure to be a huge success.
Did you know that Today’s Country 94.1 has “outside broadcast” equipment? We love to broadcast from community events!
We’ve broadcast from Dora Creek Workers Club (Road to Tamworth), Great Keppel Island (Country on Keppel), Smoke in Broke, Gosford (Brand New Star), Ringers Western Central Coast and of course Tamworth for the country music festival.
It’s not all songs and rodeos – the Today’s Country 94.1 team work hard to raise money and keep us on the air. The support of Bunnings has been significant in allowing us to host weekend barbecue fundraisers – and of course we took a few photos.
We love our community and give where we can. During and after the catastrophic floods that impacted so much of NSW in 2022, Today’s Country 94.1 conducted a pet food drive. Thanks to the generous support of our Central Coast community, volunteers and listeners we were able to collect and deliver over $4,000 worth of pet food to those affected in the Kempsey region.
In 2023, Today’s Country 94.1 teamed with Ourimbah-Lisarow RSL and held the “Spring Into Country” festival, supported by some of Australia’s finest country music talent. During the festival, a beautiful Takamine guitar was signed by the artists, then this one-of-a-kind instrument was raffled!
