WILL DAY TURNS UP THE HEAT WITH NEW SINGLE ‘MY KINDA CROWD’
Will Day is setting the tone for summer with his electrifying new single, ‘My Kinda Crowd’. Embracing his country party roots, Will captures the essence of good times in this feel-good anthem that’s sure to resonate with fans. Co-written in the heart of Nashville alongside talented songwriters Caleb Mills and Trey Gallman, ‘My Kinda Crowd’ follows Will’s successful 2024 releases, ‘Find Myself A Dirt Road’ and the emotive ‘Home Town’. This latest track is a must-listen for any country rock lover and is perfectly timed for his three performances at Groundwater Country Music Festival which includes a spot on the main stage.
“I really feel this track represents me in my best light as a high energy country rock act. It’s fun, guitar heavy and makes you feel good. I love being able to then transfer that sentiment onto stage. This tune was a product of the co-writing I did in Nashville recently. My Kinda Crowd was written with two amazing up and coming American country artists, Caleb Mills and Trey Gallman. We had a lot of fun and really connected on this one”.
Will has become a celebrated artist in Australia’s country music scene. He has performed at iconic festivals such as the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Savannah in the Round, Gympie Muster, Deni Ute Muster, Texas Country Music Festival, and Winton’s Way Out West Fest. His recent trip to Nashville during CMA Fest saw him showcasing on Broadway, playing a songwriters round and taking part in several co-writes, which will form part of his upcoming second album release.
Respected amongst the country music community, Will’s previous singles have been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Country, Fresh Finds, and New Music Friday, as well as Apple Music’s Today’s Country, 5th Gear, and Aussie Country playlists. Major radio stations such as KIX Country, iHeartCountry, ABC Country, Triple M Country, and Australian Country Radio have embraced his music, solidifying his status as one of Australia’s fastest-rising country acts.
