Coast Community Broadcasters Inc (CCBI ) has operated the community broadcasting service Todays Country 94One on the 94.1 MHz frequency since late 2007. On 8 April 2010 the Australian Communications and Media Authority ( ACMA) granted Coast Community Broadcasting a long term license to operate a community country music radio station serving the local government areas of Gosford and Wyong.
We are proud of our strong community ties and our loyal listening audience, which has enabled us to present the best in Australian and overseas country music, as well as encouraging and fostering talented young performers through our very successful Brand New Star competition.
Todays Country 94One provides one of the few opportunities for Australian country music performers and aspiring local singers and musicians to receive airplay of their work and thereby develop their careers.
The station continues to upgrade and expand, with new presenters joining our team, the launch of additional programs and the installation of improved quality broadcast technology.
An added bonus is the opportunity for sporting organisations on the Central Coast to receive coverage and promotion, encouraging high participation rates and fan support. In addition our regular Community Service Announcements help promote and engage the wide range of community organisations on the Coast, which in turn makes a significant social contribution locally.
Todays Country 94One streams live via its website and is known to have loyal listeners throughout Australia and overseas.
Todayscountry94one is urgently looking for volunteers with grant writing experience to assist in applying for grants which help to keep the station operational. We are also looking for volunteers with a love of country music to help with the office administration.
